

Airmaster Celebrates Success and Team Spirit at Annual EOT Away Day
Kicking off the day with company updates, Managing Director Lisa Pogson, Operations Director Gareth Campbell, and Contracts Director Ross Blackwood shared key highlights from across the business. Lisa presented the financial overview, announcing that Airmaster has maintained its positive trajectory with a turnover of £11 million in the last financial year. She also outlined new employee benefits currently being developed in partnership with the employee committee.
Gareth Campbell took a moment to thank the entire team for their contribution to expanding Airmaster’s reach across sectors including Life Sciences, Defence, Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, Logistics and beyond. Ross Blackwood shared insights on new and upcoming contracts, highlighting a robust pipeline of exciting projects.
This year's event was driven by the employee committee, with special recognition to Sam Casadei (Design Engineer) and Jo Mills (Service & Maintenance Coordinator) for their efforts in curating a memorable experience.

Competition, Camaraderie & a Dash of Falconry
The morning saw the team split into six groups to take part in unique and light-hearted activities including ferret racing, archery, laser shooting, and an unforgettable falconry experience with a Harris Hawk, Barn Owl and adorable Pygmy Owls.
Following a well-earned lunch, the competition heated up with team-building challenges, puzzles, and problem-solving games. The spirit of collaboration (and friendly rivalry) was on full display.

Evening Entertainment & Future Plans
The celebrations continued into the evening with a lively dinner and a host of entertaining activities, including “Back to the 80’s” bingo, “Minute to Win It” challenges, and a few more surprise games that had the team laughing into the night. Some employees extended their stay, enjoying golf or spa relaxation the following day.
Looking ahead, plans are already underway for the Airmaster Memorial Golf Day in September, and ideas are being tossed around for a return away day challenge next year.
Supporting Local & Giving Back
The event was proudly supported by key partners and suppliers, including Greenmill, which generously provided stationery, snacks, and golf goodies; ZEST, which delivered a top-tier activity package; and Mitsubishi and Toshiba, who contributed vouchers and prizes. Prizes were also sourced from local businesses such as The Arc and Vetro Lounge, reinforcing Airmaster’s commitment to its community. The company also continues to support vital charities including Grimm & Co, Rotherham Hospital, Rotherham Hospice, and the Master Cutler’s Challenge.
