Airmaster exhibit at Made Futures virtual careers week
Airmaster are exhibiting as part of the Made in Group’s “Made Futures” virtual careers week from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th March. Managing Director, Lisa Pogson will be one of the speakers for a panel discussion ‘Meet Britain’s Makers – South Yorkshire’ on Friday 26th March at 2.30pm.
Lisa said “We have teams of people manufacturing off site and on site across various disciplines. We have invested in our people, through apprenticeships and training and are really proud of all our teams”.
The panel discussion will feature a panel of experts from the South Yorkshire region who will discuss employability skills, what skills the industry is looking for and how to break into or develop your career in manufacturing, followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
“Made Futures” is a Made in Group project to help members showcase job opportunities, find talent and join keynote speeches with industry leaders in early 2021. The aim of the week-long event, presented as a virtual exhibition, is to generate 1,000 new jobs within the manufacturing industry. The event will be presented as a Manufacturing Skills week that will include a Careers Panel, Mock Interviews, Employability Workshops, CV Writing, Inclusivity Workshops and Mental Health Resilience Workshops.
