First-class achievement for Sam
This week, Design Engineer Intern, Sam Casadei officially graduated from The University of Sheffield with a first-class Honors for his MEng in Engineering (Energy and Sustainability). For Sam this was a very memorable day marking the end of 5 years at the university. Sam spent a year with Airmaster doing an internship from August 2021 before going back to university to complete his final year whilst continuing to work with Airmaster part time around his studies. He has returned full time to join #TeamAirmaster from 3rd July as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Sam said “It has been a true rollercoaster ride, but after five years I am proud of my achievements, especially my final year dissertation on the utilisation of ventilation systems to reduce the spread of airborne pathogens. Thank you to the university staff, help from Airmaster Air Conditioning Ltd, and my family and friends - I truly couldn't have done it without you. Although this is the end of my journey at university, it marks the beginning of the rest of my engineering career, and I couldn't be happier to be back full time as a Design Engineer at Airmaster Air Conditioning Ltd.”
Ross Blackwood, Contracts Director said “This is a top accolade for a top individual, well done. We are proud to have you as part of our team!”
Lisa Pogson, Managing Director said “Over the last 2 years, Sam has become a key part of our team and we are delighted to see him achieve his first-class degree, he has worked hard and this is well-deserved recognition of his achievement. He played a key role in Airmaster gaining the Gold standard from the Supply Chain Sustainability School. We are so glad to welcome Sam back to the business full time. He will be continuing to work in the design team and helping in areas of growth such as sustainability, decarbonisation and net zero targets both for us and our customers. As ever, onwards and upwards for all our team."
