Second Annual MAMS Trophy Memorial Golf Day Held at Hillsborough Golf Club
Vent Direct hosted the second annual MAMS Trophy Memorial Golf Day at Hillsborough Golf Club, bringing together colleagues, friends, and industry partners to honour the memory of two much-loved members of #TeamAirmaster: Joint Managing Director, Mark Staniland, who passed away from Sarcoma in 2019, and Senior Contracts Manager, Michael Archbould, who passed away aged 32 from ARVC inherited cardiac disease in 2020.
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, the day once again combined friendly competition with a strong sense of community and remembrance. Players from Airmaster and Vent Direct joined together to celebrate the lives of Michael and Mark – both remembered not only for their professional contribution but also their friendship and generosity.
Lisa Pogson, Managing Director at Airmaster, said: "Michael and Mark remain very much in our hearts, and it means a great deal to us to be able to bring people together in their memory. The MAMS Trophy is not just about golf – it’s about celebrating their lives and values. We are so grateful to everyone who took part and contributed to making this event such a success again."
The competition was keenly contested, with prizes presented for individual and team performances:
- Nearest the Pin: John Brocklebank, Technical Sales Manager at Vent Direct

- Longest Drive: Ross Blackwood, Contracts Director at Airmaster

- 2nd Place: Danny Ellis, Air Movement Technology
- Winner: Lee Rodgers, Air Movement Technology

- Wooden Spoons: Joey Marshall, Vent Direct, and for the second year running, Charlie Fisher, Maintenance Engineer at Airmaster

- Overall Company Trophy: Vent Direct, collected by Simon Latimer, Business Partner

Airmaster extends special thanks to Vent Direct, all the players and supporters who made the day possible. Plans are already in motion for the third MAMS Trophy Memorial Golf Day in 2026.
