Ross joined Airmaster in 2018 as a Project Engineer and after 4 years with the business was promoted to Contracts Director.

His role includes designing, scoping and quoting new contracts. Working with large contracts with some of the national contractors from conception of design to completion of the mechanical works on projects for offices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and education. Mechanical includes plumbing, ducting, thermal heating, building management controls and air conditioning. Ross leads a team of 13 contracts managers and project engineers.

Ross went to Aston Comprehensive School in Sheffield; his Dad was a plumber and he was always interested in understanding how things work. On leaving school Ross started as an Apprentice Pipe Fitter-Welder training at Leeds College of Building to complete an NVQ Level 3 in Commercial Heating and Ventilation. He also became Gas Safe qualified. In 13 years with SES which is now part of Wates Group, he progressed from Apprentice to Engineer and onto become a Site Supervisor.

Ross said "My job involves managing projects, trades and finance. I really enjoy the variety of work and working with so many new people. I class the team I work with in the office as friends. My family make great role models for me and gave me core values like taking pride in what I do, working hard. After work I like my cross-fit training and socialising with friends. People may not know I am a British champion kickboxer!"
